Explore Cultural Heritage : The Chateau Garli

Travellers on the look out to explore the cultural heritage left for us to decipher by our ancestors often set out to unexplored areas. The heritage village of Garli Pragpur in Kangra Valley is one such destination. The Chateau Garli offers an experience though time. The majestic Dhauladhar range rise as a backdrop to this quaint village, the river Beas graces it with its presence and has beautiful banyan trees amongst rich flaura and fauna that serve as perfect pit stops on treks along the Garli Pragpur Village. What draws travellers to Garli Pragpur Village is the architecture and functionality of this village that was existent pre independence, though mostly in ruins now. A combination of Portuguese, colonial, Mughal, Rajasthani and Kangri architecture are found in this part of the Kangra Valley.
