गडासरु महादेव, चुराह वैली (चम्बा) अप्पर चुराह के उत्तर मे स्थित नोसराधार की गगनचुंबी पर्वत श्रृंखलाओ मे एक अनोखा स्थल विद्यमान है, रुद्र भगवान का अदभुत डल गडासर ु महादेव. ये लगभग 3,470 m (11,380 ft) उंचाइ पर है. यह डल लगभग 2km के एरिया मे फ़ैला हुआ है. झील के दोनों ओर हरे भरे घास के मैदान है और उत्तरी साइड मे अलग-अलग प्रकार के पथरो का फ़र्श बिछा हुआ है मानो की जैसे की टाइल बिछाइ हो. डल झील और बाई ओर हरे भरे घास की क्यारियां डल झील से थोड़ा दूर बाइ ओर पर कुछ छोटॆ खेतो की तरह क्यारियां हैं. उन क्यारियो के उपर चलने और भी हैरान्गी होती है, ऐसा लगता है जैसे किसी मुलायम गददे पर चलरहे हो. प्रत्यक्ष-दर्शियो के अनुसार यहा डल और उसके आस-पास कई प्रकार के चमत्कार होते रहते हैं. इस डल से कोइ 1½km उपर एक अन्य डल है जो बिल्कुल काले रंग का है और बहुत डरावना है. उसे महाकाली डल कहते है. डल के पूर्वोतर के पहाड़ बिल्कुल शिवलिंग की तरह हैं. इस डल के उत्तर-पश्चिम मे आपस मे जुड़ी हुई दिखने वाली दो पर्वत चोटिया है जिन्हे ‘पाप-पुण्य’ के नाम से जाना जाता है. मणिमहेश डल न्होण के साथ ही गडासरु महा

Manimahesh Yatra from September 3, 2018

The Manimahesh yatra will begin on September 3. This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Harikesh Meena on Sunday. During the yatra, devotees take a dip in the holy Manimahesh lake, situated at an altitude of 4,170 m. From the lake, they can clearly see Mount Kailash, the abode of Lord Shiva, which is at an altitude of 5,656 m. To deal with any emergency, the Special Secretary to the state government has issued instructions to, the Chamba Deputy Commissioner, who is also the chairperson of District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), to make all arrangements. The Subdivisional Officer (Civil), Bharmour, has been asked to remain updated with the weather alerts issued by the Shimla Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and not allow the movement of pilgrims during heavy rain. Lahaul-Spiti to restrict tourist flow

Pratibha Chauhan TribuneNews Service Shimla, August 7 Himachal will adopt Bhutan model of tourism for its pristine Lahaul-Spiti Valley by restricting tourist inflow once the ecologically fragile area becomes accessible throughout the year on the opening of the Rohtang tunnel. The state government is gearing up to handle the tourist rush after the completion of the Rohtang Tunnel, hopefully by next year. The Urban Development Department is preparing a Master Plan for ensuring regulated development of the area which could witness sudden tourism boom following the completion of the Rohtang tunnel. The total bed capacity in hotels, guest houses, home stay and tented accommodation at the major tourist attractions like Udaipur, Kaza, Keylong and Tabo has been assessed at 1,882. “We have to tread very cautiously by restricting the number of tourist arrivals into Lahaul Spiti on completion of the Rohtang tunnel as it is an ecologically fragile area,” remarked Ram Lal Markan
